Amendments were made to the Regulation on the Determination and Implementation of the Toll Fee for the Highways under the Responsibility of the General Directorate of Highways and for the Roads with Access Control No. 28292, published in the Official Gazette, dated 14/5/2012.
The Fast Pass System was determined as an operator-free toll collection system that enables the automatic reduction of the toll from the bank account as a result of the communication of the in-vehicle label (passive label) in the vehicle with the antennas located in the box office using electromagnetic waves.
The Longest Distance Transition Fee was defined as the toll determined by taking into account the toll at the farthest distance to the toll booths.
Vehicle owners who do not pay the toll will be given an administrative fine 4 times the distance from the entrance to exit. The administrative fines in question were applied 10 times.
No penalty will be imposed on those who pass without paying the tolls and then pay in accordance with the toll method that they are obliged to pay within 15 days of the grace period. This period was applied as 7 days.
Fifteen days will not be expected for the administrative fines imposed on foreign license plate vehicles, which are detected to pass without paying the tolls defined for the highways and access control roads.
