Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles' "International Commercial Vehicle of the Year 2017" award-winner Crafter model's new pick-up version has just been launched in the Turkish market. The New Crafter Pick-up is launched with an increased loading capacity, innovative new interior and exterior design, technology, safety and comfort features.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will relieve the burden of the business world with the New Crafter Pick-up. Thanks to its aluminium body, the New Crafter Pick-up provides increased load capacity while the model claims to stand out with its new generation safety features, standard air conditioning system and low fuel consumption levels.

High Volume Turbo Engine

The New Crafter Pick-up is launched with a 2.0 turbo diesel engine option that produces 140 PS. The turbo diesel engine also provides 340 Nm of torque. The New Crafter Pick-up combines high levels of performance and traction power with low fuel consumption by consuming 7,5 litres per 100 kilometres (7,7 for manual transmission) as well as its automatic start/stop function. 

8-Speed Automatic Transmission

The New Crafter Pick-up features the only optional 4MOTION four-wheel drive system and an 8-speed automatic transmission.  While the 8-speed automatic transmission will be offered only for the front wheel drive models, it ensures smooth gear changes to provide a comfortable drive and lower fuel consumption. The 4MOTION four-wheel drive system ensures high levels of traction, unique performance and excellent handling under harsh conditions.

Higher Loading Volume

Thanks to its aluminium body, the New Crafter Pick-up claims to offer up to 200 kilograms more loading capacity than its rivals. The stairs integrated into the rear hatch allows easy access into the body.
