As My Truck Magazine, which has long been in close contact with municipalities in Turkey, we reveal a comprehensive study for vehicle park and infrastructure with a detailed survey for the general municipal services. We offer information about all corners of Turkey to our readers on a regular basis through our Municipality File. In this broad study, you can follow the vehicle park and future purchase plans for all municipalities in the future issues of our magazine.

Mediterranean Region Special Issue

In this part of our Municipality File, where we examine the municipalities on a regional basis, we have discussed the Mediterranean Region. There are 7 provinces and 93 municipalities in the Mediterranean Region. 13 municipalities from Adana, Antalya, Burdur and Isparta provinces took part in our 'Which Municipality Has Which Vehicle' survey. You can find vehicle inventories of these municipalities in our table.

According to the result of our study, in some municipalities, it was found that some vehicles were out of use due to being defective and old model, some municipalities that participated in the survey had over 2000 model vehicles, some of the municipalities bought the vehicles with their own means, while some municipalities purchased via State Supply Office. Also it was stated by the Municipalities that there are the vehicles they have with the support of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. While some Municipalities participating in our survey stated that they could not fulfill their new vehicle purchase needs due to budget; some municipalities expressed their intention to purchase vehicles. In addition, some municipalities stated that domestic brands are preferred. Among the preferred vehicle brands; Ford, BMC, Mercedes, Volvo, Hidromek and Catarpiller were included.
