One of Krone's most striking innovations is the eTrailer, which was developed together with Trailer Dynamics as part of a comprehensive sustainability strategy, under the megatrend of electrification. This electrified vehicle helps to significantly reduce the CO2 emissions of articulated trucks by taking the load off the tractor unit. In recent months, the eTrailer has already been able to demonstrate its performance on a number of race tracks. Particularly impressive were and are the appearances of the eTrailer in the Truck Grand Prix racing series in cooperation with the European Truck Racing Association (ETRA). The eTrailer competed several times in the Record Run and already proved on the first laps in Misano, Poznan and the Nürburgring not only the associated emotionality and driving fun.
The previous race tracks offered ideal conditions to put both the performance of the eTrailer and its safety systems to the test. Different road and cornering conditions as well as changing weather conditions proved that the trailer is able to meet the requirements with aplomb.
